NINTENDO Wii PLAY-OFF
Age 12-15 years
Come and show off your gaming skills in our Nintendo Wii competition, and win up to £30 of HMV vouchers. The games to be played are sports based, and will include tennis, golf and boxing.
There is a series of heats and the winners from each heat will then go through to the grand final. There’s a competition for the lads and another for the lasses.

WRITE YOUR OWN RADIO PLAY
Playing for Success Centre, Middlesbrough Football Club
Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd March
10:00 – 16:00 workshop
This is an intensive two-day workshop for budding radio dramatists aged. Work with a professional writer to create a radio play and then bring it to life with voices and sound effects. Then, as the icing on the cake, hear it broadcast by art radio station Resonance FM, broadcasting from Middlesbrough during the AV Festival.

BRAZILIAN BEATS

Brazilian Beats will let you produce your own electronic tunes inspired from Brazilian beats and music. The workshops will teach sampling, production, remixing and scratching, you’ll be mentored by Middlesbroughs beat producers Tubbyphunk.
The tracks will be used by the capoeira dancers for their performance at the Braziliant Festival and will be published on the Brazilant website.
